Preparing for Red Bull Crashed Ice in Niagara Falls

Friday November 16th, 2012.

Preparations are underway for the Red Bull Crashed Ice event in Niagara Falls.  I took these pictures today and it would appear the course will start on top of the main building of the Skylon Tower and wind it's way down Murray St. towards the Falls.  I guess they will find the ice somewhere.  Interesting to see they are building a bridge for the course to go over Murray St. 

Horace the Groundhog strikes a pose.

Horace the Hog, as he affectionately became known, showed up every afternoon at our campsite to check the firepit for food scraps. Watch the video Horace the Groundhog

Surprise at Cobourg home show.

Went to the Cobourg home show Sunday April 29 and ran into Gary and Mary-Anne, our former camp owners. Really nice to see them! They are running quite a successful business building custom decks and structures along with rubber surfacing.
