Volcano erupts in Niagara Falls

On #CliftonHill in #NiagaraFalls there is a mini-putt golf course, Dinosaur Adventure Golf, that is full of life size dinosaur replicas and a small volcano that spews forth a big ball of fire every few minutes.  When it does flame up, you can actually feel the heat it generates.  Even from the distance this photograph was taken, we could still feel the hot air from the fire rush by us.  It only lasts a second or two so you have to be patient if you want to take a picture of it 'erupting'.

Paddling across the sun

Down in #PortWeller hoping to get some good pictures as the sun set into #LakeOntario.  A paddler on a paddle board crossed my line of sight and improved my photo immensely.

The Pollinated Bee

I noticed what appeared to be white coloured bees collecting pollen from the rose of sharon.
Upon a closer look, the bees were getting covered from "head to toe" or should I say from "antenna to stinger" with pollen.

The poppies are beautiful this time of year.

Too bad the flowers don't last very long.

Saw this coyote crossing a field yesterday near Niagara Falls.

The coyote tries to assess the danger of me standing there.  He was not taking any chances and trotted away shortly after I took the picture.  March 10, 2015 @ 6:22 pm  Cloudy, low light.

The Moon and Venus tonight shared the sky.

We were at the Pendale Plaza tonight and got this shot of the Moon and Venus. The "M" is for Mars which would be in the picture be it not for the fact I took this picture with my cellphone... (or else Mars is hiding behind it's namesake letter) At least the skies stayed clear after sunset.  Hope you got to see them sharing the sky tonight!
